Entrepreneurial-Minded, Freakishly Smart, Driven Java Team Lead

Are you entrepreneurial-minded? Freakishly smart, driven team lead, of 3 or more people?

If you’ve taken a web software 12-18 month product roadmap and made it a customer-driven reality, worked with an existing at-market product, enhanced it, delivered to market within 6-12 months and on time, exceeded customer expectations (internal and external), and made modifications for the following 6-12 months that suited customer (internal and external) needs, we’d like to talk with you.

We are already at market with an existing product, but we’ve received an amazing opportunity to take the current platform to a new level. This entrepreneurial initiative supports the Google-centric market. We have an exciting 18-month product roadmap to take an existing API reporting platform, to another level, and become a web software product that is unlike any other in the industry.

As team lead & architect, you will have the responsibility to understand the current roadmap, review existing code and documentation already in place, database schema, APIs, interface with the current vendor (South America), and oversee bringing the project in-house in a fast-paced environment. You will need to work with the CEO to understand the specs, translate that into coding requirements, and assess project management for the 18-month product roadmap. You will also need to and want to code for up to 60% of your time.

You must also be a great communicator, in verbal and written communication skills, as well as the potential to have customer and investor-facing presentation skills in the next 12-18 months.
